John (1902-1956) was the son of John Macleod and Margaret Murray of 56 North Tolsta.
John married Margaret Macinnes, of 2 Hill Street, North Tolsta, and the couple settled at 56 North Tolsta, which passed to John. They had no children.
In due course the couple left 56 North Tolsta to Margaret’s niece: Dolina Campbell.
