Louis Macleod

Louis (born 1852) was the son of Donald Macleod and Mary Maclennan; the family lived with his uncle at 36 North Tolsta.

In 1857 the family obtained 58 North Tolsta as a newly lotted croft.

He and his brothers attended school in Stornoway.

He became a schoolmaster in Airidhbhruach, for the Edinburgh Ladies Highland Association, before becoming a minister.

He emigrated to South Africa.
