93516: Angus Macleod

Angus (born 1851) was the son of John Macleod and Isabella Macdonald of 29/30 Back.

In 1856 the croft was split and his parents retained 30 Back.

Angus married Margaret Stewart, of 23 Vatisker, and the couple settled as cottars at 30 Back before moving to 23 Vatisker. They had seven children.

Angus was widowed in 1904 and later married, widow, Isabella Maclennan of 60 North Tolsta. He gained three step children: Mary, Marion and Jamesina. The couple had no children together.

Angus was widowed again in 1916. He went on to marry Ann Macdonald, of 28 Vatisker. The couple had no children together.
