Donald Maclennan

Donald (born 1869) was the son of Alexander Maclennan and Effie Campbell of 60 North Tolsta.

Donald married Ann Thomson, of 52 Coll, and the couple settled as cottars at 60 North Tolsta. They had one son.

The family obtained Pairc Dhannaidh, Hill Street, North Tolsta.

He joined the Seaforth Militia and served, and died, in Cairo, during the Boer War. After his death his widow remarried twice more.
