Murdo (born 1888) was the son of Allan Maciver and Margaret Mackenzie of 31 Coll.
He married Mary Maciver, of 34 Coll, ex 60 North Tolsta and the couple settled at 31 Coll and had four children. In due course 31 Coll passed to their grandson.
