93591: Norman Maclean

Norman (1817-1891) was the son of Murdo Maclean of North Bragar.

He married Catherine Mackay, of 14 Borve, but it is not clear where the couple initially settled or where their first three children were born.

In 1857 the family obtained 63 North Tolsta. The couple had a further two children once settled there. In due course their daughter, Margaret, became a cottar on the croft, but it eventually passed to their youngest son: John.
