93898: Angus Macdonald

Angus (1862-1940) was the son of Malcolm Macdonald and Christina Maclennan; the family were cottars at 49 North Tolsta, which was Angus’s maternal grandmother’s croft.

In 1863 his maternal grandmother lost 49 North Tolsta and settled as a cottar on his uncle’s croft. Angus’s parent moved the family to 5 Skigersta, which was his paternal grandparents croft.

Angus married Henrietta Campbell, of 7 Adabrock. It is not known where the couple settled or if they had any children before Angus was widowed.

Angus’s second marriage was to Christina Macdonald, of 6 Adabrock. It is not known where the couple settled or if they had any children.
