94823: Norman Macinnes
Norman (born 1913) was the son of Norman Macinnes and Christina Nicolson of 1 Glen Tolsta.
During the Second World war he served with the Royal Naval Reserves. On the 23rd of November 1939 he survived the destruction of the HMS Rawalpindi; subsequently he became a prisoner of war in Germany.
He married Peggy Ferguson, of 2 Gress, and the couple settled in Birmingham.
