Anne (born 1871) was the daughter of Hector Maciver and Margaret Carmichael; it is not clear where the family were living at the time of her birth; her maternal grandparents lived at 3 Glen Tolsta and her paternal grandparents lived at 28 North Tolsta.
In 1875 the family obtained 3 Glen Tolsta.
In 1883 the family emigrated to America and settled in Carolina.
