John (born 1913), the second of three successive Johns in this family, was the son of Angus Mackenzie and Catherine Macdonald. The address at the time of his birth is not known.
In 1922 the family moved to 1 New Tolsta.
John emigrated to New Zealand, ‘jumping ship’ from the NZSS Rangitoto in 1949 and married Theresa, from Ireland.
