95046: Murdo Murray
Murdo (1915-1978) was the son of Donald Murray and Isabella Macleod; the family were cottars at 71 North Tolsta.
In 1922, when New Tolsta was lotted, the family obtained 13 New Tolsta.
In due course 13 New Tolsta passed to Murdo from his brother, Murdo’s widow, Margaret, when she re-married.
Murdo married Catherine Ann Maciver, of 48 Back, and the couple settled in Glasgow initially, where they had a daughter, then at 13 New Tolsta.
