Kenneth Murray

Kenneth (1846-1876) was the son of Alexander Murray and Mary Macdonald of 13 Old North Tolsta.

In 1853, when the crofts were cleared to created Tolsta Farm, the family emigrated to Huron, Bruce Country, Ontario.

Kenneth became a saltmaker at Maitlandville, near Goderich, Ontario.

Around 1870 he married Margaret  Mackay, of Borve, Barvas, and they settled in Maitlandville and had four children: Mary Catherine, Alexander, Louisa, and Gertrude.
