95328: Donald Smith

Donald (born 1829) was the son of Neil Smith and Christina Campbell. It is not known where the family were living at the time of his birth. There are links to Old South Tolsta Tack through his father and links to Habost, Ness through his mother.

In 1830, during the croft lottings, his paternal grandfather obtained 12 Old North Tolsta; this quickly passed to his father.

In 1832 obtained 9 Old South Tolsta, through croft exchange.

In 1843, the family lost the croft but remained in Old South Tolsta as cottars. 

In 1851, the family emigrated to Bruce Township, Ontario.
