9626: Donald Munro

Donald Munro from Harris, married to Mary Mackinnon, also from Harris was a shepherd on the Shiant Islands up until the 1830s.

They had ten children: Mary (1808) married Donald Maclennan and may have lived in Stornoway; John (1805); Donald (1807) married Mary Morrison; Norman (1811); Malcolm (1813) married Ann Nicolson, Leurbost; Marion (1816); Margaret (1821) married Kenneth Macaskill; Hugh (1825) married Mary Maclean, Skye; Murdo (1829) married Margaret Gillies, Croigarry; Marion (1835).
