9674: John Macleod

Iain Iain Dhonnchaidh

John (born 1863) was a son of John Macleod and Margaret Morrison, 37 Gravir.  He was a twin of Margaret.  His father died in 1867. His mother obtained new croft, 44 Gravir and later exchanged crofts with her brother, Murdo Morrison, 7 Marvig.

At Stornoway, in 1898, John married Mary Ann Morrison, 9b Calbost.  They settled at  7 Marvig and they had three children.  

Later the family moved to 12 Murray's Court, Stornoway.
