Donald (1801-1853) was the son of John Macleod and Ann Smith of Glen Barvas.
In 1824 Donald married Mary Maciver, of 8-9 Brue, and they settled at 8-9 Brue and had five children: three sons and two daughters.
Donald is buried in Barvas.
