98709: Duncan Morrison
Duncan (1809-1880) was a son of Donald Morrison and Ann Maciver, Lower Barvas.
In 1840 he married Margaret Maciver of Lower Barvas and they had six children.
Duncan was schoolmaster in Rhenigidale, Scalpay and the Gaelic School, Shader, Barvas.
He left Shader in the mid 1870s to take up a post in Garenin, Carloway.
