Donald (1914-1983) was a son of Donald Morrison and Isabella Ann Macdonald, 44 Gravir.

He was a painter to trade and worked for many years on estates in Perthshire.

Donald served with the Royal Air Force during the Second World War. He is mentioned in Roll of Honour: Pairc, Second World War.

At Inverness, in 1943, he married Christina Jessie Chisholm who was born in Inverness but whose parents were Chisholms and Macphails from 29 and 19 Gravir. Donald and Christina settled in Uig, Isle of Skye. He followed the family tradition and set-up a grocery shop in the village. 

Donald and Christina later moved to Gravir and settled for a time at 4 Cnoc a' Bhlair.
