Margaret Ann (born 1901) was a daughter of Allan Macaskill and Johanna Macmillan, 20 Gravir. In 1923 the family moved to Lake House Gravir.
Margaret Ann and Marion Nicolson, 32 Gravir emigrated to Canada on the SS Athenia on 12 October 1923. She settled in Toronto and in 1927 she was living at 36 Ashland Avenue, Toronto when she married Duncan Carsewell, 10707 6th Avenue, Cleveland Ohio formerly of Bonhill, Dunbartonshire. Margaret Ann and Duncan settled in Chicago, Illinois and they had three children.
In the 1930 Census her brother, Murdo John was living with the family.
