110957: Census Canada 1871

The 1871 Canada Census took place on 2nd April 1871. It was the first national census of Canada, covering the four extant provinces: Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. Other areas of what later became part of Canada continued to be enumerated in their own separate censuses.
