21867: Commemoration of our Land Heroes

Cuimhneachain nan Gaisgeach is a Lewis community-based voluntary organisation constituted in 1989. The specific objective of the organisation is to erect memorials to commemorate the crofters struggle for Land Law Reform and to generate an appreciation of our local history and the valuable heritage bequested to us by our forebears who sacrificed much to secure the rights we are inclined to take for granted.
