COMFORT FOR THE BOYS – Mrs Allan Mackenzie, Manse, has received a letter from the Association of Highland Societies, Edinburgh, in regard to the socks knitted, by the young women of the congregation, in which it is stated that they were immeasurably superior to those issued by the Government and that they were highly appreciated by officers and men. Mrs Mackenzie is arranging to get more sent out from the various townships.
