The first tenant of this croft was Hector Macleod (1809-1890)  Eachainn Dhòmhnaill Ian from 4 Kershader. The family moved to 11 Habost in the early 1850s.

The next tenant of 11 Kershader was Donald Macaulay (1817-1889) Dòmhnall Mhurchaidh Ruairidh from 9 Garyvard. The family emigrated to Canada in 1863.

Duncan Mackay (1809-1884) Donnchadh Thormoid  from 2 Habost  was the next tenant of 11 Kershader and he passed the croft to his son, Donald Mackay (1846-1924) Dòmhnall Dhonnchaidh Thormoid. The croft then went to Donald's brother, Finlay Mackay (1865-1951) Fionnladh Dhonnchaidh Thormoid.  His son, Donald Duncan Mackay (1900-1969) Dòmhnall Donnchadh Fhionnlaigh Dhonnchaidh was the next tenant of 11 Kershader.
