Catherine MacVicar, born 1876, was the daughter of Rachel MacVicar of Boreray. Catherine married Donald MacLean of Grenitote. They lived in the shepherd’s house until about 1898/1899 when Donald became tenant of 2 Grenitote. Catherine and Donald had a son, Donald. Catherine became tenant of 2 Grenitote upon her husband’s death in 1907.
