Rachel (1794-1892) was a daughter of Malcolm Macleod and Catherine Macritchie and was related to the Macleod's at 7 Kershader.

She moved a great deal probably to find work. In 1841 she was in Ranish as a General Servant and in 1851 and 1861 did not live in Lochs. In 1871 she was a Pauper at Kershader, in 1881 a General Servant/Pauper at Crossbost and in 1891 was a Boarder/Annuitant with her niece Ann Macleod and her husband, Donald Macdonald, 2 Caverstay.
