The first tenant of this croft Allan Macleod (1811-1901) Ailean Nèill Chaluim from Keose, who was married to Margaret Macleod (1818-1893) from Harris. Allan Macleod moved to 2 Ranish.
Margaret's father Neil Macleod (1791-1877) Niall Uilleim was a Cottar on 2 Caverstay in 1841 and moved to Crobeg in 1851. They returned to 2 Caverstay in 1861.
Donald Macdonald (1830-1909) Dòmhnall Alasdair Alasdair from 10 Garyvard, was the next tenant followed by his son Donald Macdonald (born 1864) Dòmhnall Dhòmhnaill Alasdair, Cobhaidh.
