Catherine (1826-1859) was a daughter of Neil Macleod and Margaret Morrison, 2 Caverstay. She was born in Harris.
In Lochs, in 1854, she married Donald Campbell, 11 Marvig. Catherine and Donald settled at 31 Lemreway and they had three children of whom only one survived.
Catherine died shortly after John's birth.
