Margaret (1820-1868) was a daughter of Donald Munro and Mary Mackinnon, Eilean Anabaich, North Harris. Her father was a Shepherd and the family moved between the Shiant Islands and North Harris.
In Harris, in 1850, she married Kenneth Macaskill from Eilean Anabaich. The couple settled at Eilean Anabaich and they had six children. In 1851 her sister, Marion is living with the family. In 1861 Her father, Donald and sister Marion are living with the family at Eilean Anabaich.
Margaret died at Molinginish in 1868 four months after the birth of their daughter, Anne.
