Catherine (1889-1977) was a daughter of John Macdonald and Catherine Macdonald, Balephuil, Isle of Tiree.

She emigrated to Canada in 1910 and settled in Manitoba. Catherine married George Wilson Marshall from Pictou, Nova Scotia. The couple lived at Brandon, Manitoba and they had five children.

Catherine was widowed in 1959.
