Donald William (1934-2007) was a son of Norman Macleod and Jane Mackay, 5 Lundale. He assumed tenancy of the croft and settled there with his wife who was from Breasclete. They raised three children.

D W was employed by Scaliscro estate until ill health effected his retirement.
