Norman (1891-1976) was a son of Donald Macleod and Annie Macdonald, 5 Lundale. He assumed tenancy of the croft and settled there with his wife Jane Mackay, 33 Valtos. They raised three children.

Norman was a seventh son which, according to tradition, attributed that person with the gift of healing.
