26250: Annie Macdonald

Annie (born 1856) was a daughter of Donald Macdonald and Catherine Mackay. She was born in Valtos and in the 1870s moved to Tobson. Annie and her sisters rowed twice each Sunday to Miavaig, Uig to attend a church service.

At Uig, in 1880, she married Donald Macleod from 2 Crulivig and lived at his family home until they moved to 5 Lundale to live with her father. They had eleven of a family; ten boys and one girl, one boy dying in infancy.
