Kate Ann (born 1887) was a daughter of Malcolm Maciver and Mary Macarthur. She was born in Valetta, Malta. Her father was a soldier in the Seaforth Highlanders and the family also lived at Fort George, Inverness and Dingwall Barracks.
The family settled at 10 Knock Carloway and later moved to Tayvallich, Knock Carloway.
She married Malcolm Macleod, 1 Knock Carloway. Katie Ann and Malcolm lived at 10 Borrowston and they had no children.
