94799: Donald Macdonald

Donald was the son of Murdo Macdonald and Catherine Macleod, 31 Swordale. He became the tidsear balach, the second male teacher in the secondary department, in Tolsta School in the 1950s. He left to become headmaster at Gravir School and he became headmaster at  North Tolsta Junior and Secondary School in 1960.

In 1915, he married Dolina Macleod, 12 Sheshader. The couple lived at Gravir Schoolhouse and Tolsta Schoolhouse and they had three children.

In 1971 the family left Tolsta and settled at 18 Upper Bayble.
