Mary Ann Macraild (1881-1964) was from Snizort, Isle of Skye.
At Kinloch Rannoch, in 1900, she married Robert Dempster from Kinloch Rannoch. Mary Ann and Robert settled at Kinloch Rannoch where they had six of their seven children.
The family moved to the Isle of Lewis initially lived at the Gamekeeper's House at Valmus and later owned and lived at the Seaforth Head Schoolhouse.
