Dhomhnall Dhughaill

Donald (1797-1886) was a son of Dugald Macaulay and Catherine Macdonald, Meavaig North, Isle of Harris. He moved to Breaclete, Bernera.

At Uig, in 1825, he married Margaret Macdonald from Little Bernera. Donald and Margaret lived in Breaclete and they had eleven children.

In 1855 the family emigrated to Canada and settled at Southampton, Bruce County, Ontario.
