125120: Index to the Marriages (Recorded and Unrecorded in the Parish of Uig on the Isle of Lewis 1824-1855

This register comprises an index to the marriages recorded in the Old Parish Registers for the Parish of Uig on the Isle of Lewis. The OPR for Uig Parish, which at that time included the areas of Carloway and Shawbost, does not commence until 1824. The index contains over 1000 marriages from the Uigs OPR and a further 600 marriages in that parish obtained from other sources.
