The SS Affric Star was a Passenger/Cargo Ship built by Palmer’s Shipbuilding and Iron Co, Newcastle Upon Tyne for the Blue Star Line in 1926.
She was on a voyage from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to St. Vincent, Cape Verde Islands and was shelled and sunk. The crew were rescued.
