121114: SS/HMS Patia 132034

The SS Patia was a Cargo Steamship built by Workman Clark & Co Ltd, Belfast in 1913 for Elders and Fyffes Ltd, Garston. She was sold to the Admiralty in 1914 and served in the First World War.

On June 13, 1918 the HMS Patia was torpedoed and sunk in the Bristol Channel with the loss of sixteen lives.
