61762: Scaliscro Estate

Scaliscro Estate is located on the west side of Lewis around Little Loch Roag and marches with the estates of Morsgail, Grimersta and Bernera Islands. It was originally a sheep farm from the early 19th century, and is now a mixed sporting and farming estate with Highland cattle, sheep, mussels and salmon. It is at present owned by the Mackenzie family and employs several local people. The lodge is let to sporting guests.
