14 New Tolsta was lotted in 1922. The first occupants were Alexander Maciver, Jessie Graham and their children: Jessie, Angus, Annie, Peggy, John, Angus, Murdo and Alexander. The couple’s eldest son was already married by this time. In due course 14 New Tolsta passed to their son, Murdo. 

Murdo Maciver married Agnes Murray and the couple had one child. 14 New Tolsta passed to a nephew of Murdo’s.

At some point the part of the croft on which the original crofthouse stood was feued off.
