On Donald Mackenzie’s death, the croft was split between his sons Donald (no.15) and his son-in-Law Malcolm Macneil (no.16). 

The croft 16 Garenin, was then passed to John Mackenzie of 15a Garenin, who married Jessie Murray (Nighean Thormoid Neil), 42 South Shawbost. The croft was then passed to Murdo Mackenzie 15a Garenin (Bobsan).
