10 Calbost

The croft is located next to the shore of Camas Chalaboist and also touches Loch Dubh. It was created during the second lotting in about 1852 and the first tenant was Angus Finlayson, Aonghas Chaluim Dhol Ruaidh, who had, it seems, been a landless cottar in the village.

For more information on croft housing in Calbost and throughout the district, see Angus Macleod's account.
