What may be nine unroofed shieling-huts, seven of which are annotated as Ruins, are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1854, sheet 29). One unroofed building is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973) with an additional two unroofed buildings approximately 150m to the E and one unroofed building approximately 150m to the S.
