Catherine was a daughter of Donald Mackay and Catherine Macdonald, 18 Upper Carloway.  

Catherine married Norman Maclean of 37 South Bragar. The couple lived in Glasgow whilst Norman worked there as a policeman in Glasgow. The couple retired to 37 South Bragar.
