110225: Kenneth Murray

Kenneth (born 1791) was the son of Alexander Murray and Margaret Macdonald. It is not certain where the family were living at the time of his birth.

By November 1820 his father’s name appears on the sub-tenants list of Old South Tolsta Tack, but as two Alexander Murrays obtained crofts in 1830 it is not clear which of them was living there earlier.

Kenneth married Mary Graham; it is not known where the couple settled during their early marriage or where their first three children were born.

In 1830, during the croft lottings, Kenneth obtained 7 Old North Tolsta and the couple had their last child there.

In 1841 the family emigrated to the Eastern Townships of Quebec.
