111285: John Thomson
John (1818-1899) was the son of James Thomson and Mary Macaulay of 5 Old Coll.
In 1851 his parents obtained 52 Coll and in due course this passed to John.
John married Ann Graham, of 22 Coll, and the couple had eight children: Mary, Ann, James, Christina, Marion, Christina, Catherine and Margaret. Their daughter Margaret had a daughter, Christina, that lived with the family at 52 Coll and in due course she inherited 52 Coll.
