111422: Peter Maclean

Peter (born 1903) was the son of John Maclean and Mary Maciver, 12 Crowlista, He married Flora Macaskill, Tarbert, Isle of Harris and they lived there. They had no family.

Peter and his wife had a shop (general store) at Tarbert. Peter built a home in Crowlista on number 12 but his wife did not settle and they stayed on in Tarbert. It remains to date at the start of the village by the side of the road. Peter did not come to live in it and remained in Tarbert until he died.
