Donald Murdo (1935-2015) was the son of Murdo Macdonald and Christina Maciver, of 48 North Tolsta.
Donald Murdo married Mary Gunn, of 70 North Tolsta. The couple settled at 10 Airidh a’ Bhreide and had two children: a boy and a girl.
Some time after Mary’s death, Donald Murdo moved to Stornoway, firstly to Macmillan Brae and later to Murray Place.
