Angus Stewart

Angus (born 1883) was the son of Alexander Stewart and Ann Macleod; it is not certain where the family were living at the time of his birth. His mother had links to Old Carnish and his father to 17 Back, but his father was also a teacher and known to have worked at Bayble School at some point.

In 1888 the family settled at the Schoolhouse North Tolsta.

In 1890 Angus's mother, and both of his young siblings died in the space of six months. His father resigned shortly after and the family left Tolsta.

Angus emigrated to South America.
